Baabe on Rugen
Baabe is one of the towns that Rugen is rich in. Baabe is a seaside resort, a real spa resort and lies in the east of the Rugen peninsula. The north of Baabe is bordered by Sellin and if you leave the town via the south you come to Gohren. 
Hikers can enjoy themselves on the Baaber Heath with its coniferous trees. You can also enjoy a fun ride with the steam train, leaving Baabe every two hours. During the Second World War, Baabe was a refuge for many.
