During the summer months in particular, early morning guided walks are organized for visitors who want to watch the sun rise over this stunning natural landscape. Guided walks

naturerbe zentrum ruegen You can explore the Baumwipfelpfad independently, but guided walks are also available. These lead through flint stone fields or through the magnificent forests of the area. Nowhere else can you get this close to nature. The local flora and fauna are simply spectacular, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts as well. Along the trail, you will also find an observation tower built around a tree. On a clear day, the elevated viewpoint offers views stretching for kilometres, providing the perfect opportunity for stunning landscape photography. After your walk, you can visit the permanent exhibition as well as the rotating temporary exhibitions housed in the centre.

Opening hours of the Naturerbe Zentrum

The nature centre is open throughout the year, with the exception of two short closures during winter. Doors open at 9:30 AM, and closing times vary by season — 4:30 PM in winter and 7:30 PM during the summer months. Admission costs €10 for adults and €8 for children up to 15 years of age. A guided walk costs an additional €3 per person. Walks last between one and a half to three hours.
