The campsite is located on the grounds of the former electricity distribution station Vorwerk, in the municipality of Sagard, Rugen. The station itself has been relocated, but the original buildings remain. The characterful main building dates back to the 1950s and was formerly used as an office - in the future, it will be converted back into a private residence. The old switching house will be transformed into a reception, café, and shop. The former barracks building, once used as an office and training space, has been fully renovated and converted into 2 holiday cottages, and also houses the toilets and showers.
